For a Year 2 Production House project in Breda University of Applied Sciences, my team in the Interactive department had a project from an external client to produce a 360 VR experience for mobile devices.
This experience is meant to educate primary students on the story of Polish WW2 soldiers, with the aim of giving choices for the students to take, so they can discuss the story that provides.
Using Unity, we built a room and with C# coding, allowed the room to work in a cardboard 360 headset for your phones. Within the minimum viable product, we added the playback function, including play/pause, as well as being able to select from two boxes (acting as choices) by looking at the box, and an object appearing after a choice is made.
